Who Should be Referred? |
|
The atrial fibrillation center welcomes any patient with a diagnosis of atrial fibrillation. Referrals are accepted for the management of atrial fibrillation or for a second opinion about treatment strategies. Specific referrals for ablation or device therapy are also commonly seen. Patients are either self-referred or referred from cardiologists, electrophysiologists, or primary care physicians. At the atrial fibrillation center a dedicated team of electrophysiologists, nurse practitioner, nurses, research coordinators, and administrative assistant work together to provide the best treatment strategies for each individual patient. |
